APRF™ Technology (Anti Parasite Removal Film) used in KICK THE TICK® protects against the tick being torn during the process of removing it from the host.
A detailed examination of the removed tick’s body, previously treated with the product, confirmed the removal of „complete ticks” (complete idiosoma and gnatosoma (snout)). The film preventing the parasite from breaking their body parts completely covered the body of the ticks, which could be clearly seen in the microscope’s eyepiece.
All the ticks has been left for the observation for the period of 24 hours. No cryogenic effect was observed, which is the main mechanism of action of the preparation.

The product (…) named KICK the TICK® (…) has characteristics that entitle to recognize this product as a product useful in protection of humans and animals against the harmful effects of tick parasitism and against pathogens transmitted by the arthropods.
At the time of using the product, it protects the user against the possibilities of transmitting tick-borne pathogens during the feeding time.
Quick tick removal from the host skin without damaging its body parts, lower the risk of local and systemic reactions caused by the components of their saliva. It is important to check if the tick has been removed from the skin completely. In case the pieces of gnatosomy (snout) have been left, they must be removed as soon as possible.

Effectiveness of mosquito repellent
The evaluation of the effectiveness of the product KICK THE TICK® Max Repellent Plus conducted in the laboratory environment, showed high effectiveness of mosquito repellent.
The tested product showed 100% effectiveness of action after 10 minutes and over 99% after 1st and then 2nd hour from the application on a skin.
